I have just submitted the material for my third issue of the realtyreport®, which I have renamed “Sylvia’s HOUSE CALL”. I absolutely love the name and I’ve got to tell you it’s the best money I have ever spent in advertising.

Since the first issue in January, the calls I have been receiving are phenomenal.

- Just yesterday I got a call from a Church acquaintance who said “Hey Sylvia, I just received your HOUSE CALL and it reminded me that I had to call you to tell you that my daughter will be in town next week and I suggested that you help her find a house.”

- Another call “Hey, just calling to tell you I love your HOUSE CALL. Your photo is great. And I will be calling you later in the month to get things rolling with my house.”

- I am currently in the process of listing a home in Burlington that I sold the (newly wed) owners 5 years ago. Being an Oakville agent, they may not have thought of me because I don’t keep in touch quite as well as I should, except, of course, for the yearly calendar. They called and said “Hey we just received your HOUSE CALL. Talk about timing … We were just wondering if you were still in the business. We now have two children and have outgrown our home and really need to move. Can you help us?”

And there have been quite a few other calls – some just saying thank you for remembering them, others commenting on the letter, and others asking for information. And these calls are from people that I know I would never have otherwise heard from.

Just having the mailing has given me more confidence and a "foot-in the door", so to speak. It is a conversation piece. It reminds people you are still in the business. And the publication is such a nice quality, you are proud to have your name on it.
